We stock a range of beautiful hand tools from spades to bulb planters, trowels to hoe's and much more. We have chosen to stock the Bulldog Premier Range, the reason being that nothing annoys us more than a tool breaking when we're halfway through a job! By investing in a quality well made tool it should, if looked after and used correctly, last a life time. This ethos means that you should benefit from years of enjoyment from your gardening equipment and more environmentally friendly than inferior throw-away products; in the long-run giving you much better value for money. Bulldog tools are made in Britain, a rare treat these days and only a short distance away in Wigan... We only use Bulldog planting spades, all the rest have snapped!

We stock a wide range including peanuts, sunflower, sunflower hearts, protein mixes, mealworms, fat balls and several special mixes; along with all the nessesary feeders for each seed type. Our ethos is to source products as locally as we can, Red Barn wildbird food is only packed 9 miles away from our nursery!

Small holder animal feed is close to our hearts, when you visit the nursery you will be able to see our Tamworth wildboar x pigs, call ducks on the pond, chucks and come spring Guinea Fowl! We stock, Layers pellets, mixed corn, grit, sow & weaner pellets, goat mix, sheep & lamb diets. We have chosen to stock Massey Bros. Feeds as we have been using it for years and our family have been using them for generations. I can remember going to the mill with my grandfather to collect feed for the farm so we know and trust them. You can pop in to pick up an odd bag or if you have a larger order, call in and see us and we will deliver it direct to you locally.
It will come as no surprise to those of you that already know us that we have logs and kindling on sale in the shop. Pop in for a few bags to tide you over or to arrange a bulk delivery. We proudly stock BeeMats, for those budding beekeepers or everyone else that's really getting behind helping our pollinators. This is a fantastic new product to market that makes it really easy to grow a small wild flower plot to attract bees and other pollinators to your garden... We we're so impressed when we saw them we just had to stock them!

It's well worth popping in on a regular basis to see what we've found and what we've restored to add character to your home and garden. We currently have some fantastic wall planters, patio planters, old wooden "toy" chests, a beautiful farm house table (you'll have to see if you can persuade Jane to part with!) and lots more... come and take a look.
